Women's Soccer Alumni Scrimmage Scheduled for Saturday Afternoon Cancelled

Due to an NCAA scheduling intrepretation, Saturday's match has been cancelled

Western Carolina women's soccer scrimmage scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 15 has been cancelled due to an intrepretation of the NCAA guidelines for scheduling. Instead, the team will hold an intrasquad, Purple and Gold scrimmage beginning at 2:00 pm.

The Catamounts will open their season on Friday, Aug. 22 at directional rival East Carolina in Greenville, N.C., at 5:00 pm. WCU will visit North Carolina State on Sunday, Aug. 24 at 1:00 pm.
